This is my first time working in the senior care industry. I have been with Home Instead Basingstoke for the last 16 month. I feel very well supported as a member of staff and the service offered to clients is second to none, with a person centered approach, giving the client/family time to build bonds with their caregiver and form empathic lasting relationships. All the team in the office are committed and thoughtful, where nothing is too much. Staff training is on point and readily available. I would highly recommend Home Instead as a sensitive and considerate company with people at its heart.

I am a Caregiver for Home Instead and I have been so incredibly proud to be a part of such a supportive and well managed team! The training is hands on and informative and I went out into the community feeling confident in the care I was delivering. Joining Home Instead during a pandemic wasn't going to be easy but along with every other member of the team we were given unlimited amounts of PPE and are constantly being updated with the latest guidelines to keep ourselves, our team and our clients safe during this difficult time. I have been so incredibly fortunate to have such wonderful clients who I get to see regularly to keep both myself and also the client in a familiar routine. I have built up good relationships of trust, honesty, reliability and respect which is something that can be worrisome when looking for the right carer for yourself or your loved ones! Its so true that 'we care for our clients like we would our own family' and nothing is ever too much when it comes to delivering the best to each and every one of our clients, after all we come into your home, your safe space, you open up your door so we can help you to continue to live in your home as independently as you are able to. This was by far the best decision i have ever made and i am incredibly proud to say i am a part of the Home Instead Team.

I’ve been a caregiver for Home Instead for 5 years!.. I love my Job and the company is the best to work for.. they really do care!!.. I’m coming up to retirement age but can’t imagine ever wanting to leave this great company. They look after the clients and staff equally. Training is first class and I feel well equipped to do my Job properly. Got to be one of the best companies I’ve worked for in my 48 years of employment.

I joined Home Instead Basingstoke as a CAREGiver, and have recently become the care coordinator and scheduler. Having worked in the care industry for over 20 years, and worked with and alongside many different agencies, their ethos seemed too good to be true! 5 Years on, they have not failed to disappoint. They genuinely do CARE for clients and staff alike, it is one big family! Very proud to work for such an amazing company.

The moment I walked into the Basingstoke office I knew I was in great hands and wanted to part of the team. Good theory training and preparation before shadowing experienced carers on visits.. Fantastic support from all the coordinators, and encouraging feedback given. Regular notes to carers given to ensure we are giving only excellence. Flowing supply of PPE and of best quality for senior care work. Excellent communication between all parties. Everyone I’ve met from Home Instead shows huge kindness, warmth, and commitment. The training programmes on offer are inspiring and encouraged to ensure only excellence is on offer.

I have worked in care for last 22 years and have never enjoyed work as much as I do now working for Home Instead. I have always felt valued and we are always encouraged to develop our skills! I am so proud of everyone I work with especially over the last few months where everyone has gone above and beyond.

A really amazing company who put the needs and interests of the clients at the heart of what they do.
