Update following reply to my original review: I read your reply to only reassure myself that it was necessary. Looks like you have not done a full review of all of the cctv recordings as first of all hairdresser did not do what I asked for and took no responsibility for this! Second of all, as stated in my review not the hairdresser raised her nose at me but the receptionist. When I queried the service received she literally raised her nose and started walking across the room. I was still polite and feeling uncomfortable decided to leave. Your st however done nothing to date to make mends. Even further, you found it appropriate to imply in your response that it is a disapointment to you totally disregrding my frustration with the service, manipulating partial cctv information you obtained. How disapointing. Original review: Not good for boys haircuts, especially with thick, straight hair. After paying extra for creative hairdresser to ensure it is an experienced hairdresser, we not only left with a very bad haircut, being completely ignored of what we asked to be done, but ironicly paid 27 pounds for such a bad haircut. I honestly believe I could have done better at home by myself. What we asked for is to keep my 7yo hair length as is, but to tidy up around the ears and sides, but instead we left with a very short and UNEVEN haircut that made my sons hair look like a hardwires sticking out in a different directions (photos included before and after, but in real life is even worst). All his silky hair were gone and after having his monthly haircuts for over 6 years now, sadly it is a first bad review I had to write as she did not want to take any responsibility for not adhering to my request. The hairdresser herself seemed as a very lovely person and very engaging with my son, so even he felt shy to tell her that his hair look very bad. They will grow back of course, but I would really hoped they could admit that if they aren't experienced working with thicker, straight hair and seing what apparently was a bad haircut, they couldve offered a refund or opportunity to get it corrected, but they didn't. We will have to pay again to try to correct to look somewhat even at least. Trying to challenge it with the receptionist, she've put her nose so high in the ceiling that it even further made me feel uncomfortable to request any amends, so it will be a no go for us for boys haircuts in the future.

The Topiary is a beautiful salon and everyone there is always so chilled and friendly, it’s a great place to go. Abbie has been cutting my hair for a few years now, and I’ve recommended her to so many people. She really understands my fine hair, and makes it look incredible every time. She’s the first hairdresser I trust completely, she’s the best!

We come here for adult and children's cuts, we won't go anywhere else as the team are so lovely. Amy (or Amie? Sorry!) is incredible with our children who have additional needs and Holly helped me save my hair today after I took to it with a pair of scissors last night. Overall fab team, great value for money and always a friendly face to greet you.

I have been going to Topiary for a couple of years now and I would highly recommend it to anyone! Everyone is super friendly and professional. I had a great first experience at The Topiary this morning. My 3 year old had her first proper haircut with no dramas at all and I had a great haircut with Abbie. Highly recommend and will return :)
